The F.P .Journe Black Label Octa UTC is a rare piece from the brand's most exclusive collection, produced only for existing F.P.Journe owners between 2011 and 2015, with a total output of roughly 900 pieces per year across the entire Black Label range. Housed in a 40mm platinum case with an overall height of 10.6mm, the watch is distinguished by a blackened gold and whitened guilloché silver dial, paired with a laser engraved and hand painted world map on a sapphire disc, a detail unique to the reference. Off centre hours and minutes sit alongside a small seconds counter, a large date and a retrograde power reserve, all finished with blued steel, 5N gilt steel and rhodium plated steel hands.

At the heart of the piece is the Calibre 1300.3, an automatic movement built in 18K rose gold with an exceptional power reserve of 160 hours (plus or minus 10), well beyond the 120 hour benchmark the Octa architecture was originally designed to guarantee.
