Part Exchange & Selling
When purchasing or accepting watches in part exchange, we will thoroughly inspect the watch. It will be immediately rejected should it display characteristics or serial markings known to be associated with “replica” items.
In order to sell or part exchange to us we request to both see and photocopy a form of photographic ID, the address of which must match the address given on our buy-in document. We will also require your bank details in order to make a transfer.
We do not make instant cash payments.
We perform detailed security checks on every watch submitted to us before purchase or part exchange. All watches before purchase are authenticated by the best trained watchmakers in London.
On satisfactory completion of checks, we will make payment by bank transfer. This process can take 3-5 days.
We will not purchase any items which we believe to be lost, stolen, or subject to an insurance claim.

WARRANTIES
Important information – The small print
Please note that our warranty covers manufacturing and mechanical defects only.
Our warranty is subject to the same terms and conditions as the manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty does not cover theft or loss. Normal wear and tear or damage caused to the watch by accidents or mishandling/mistreatment are also excluded as well as damage caused due to submersion in water against the manufacturer’s guidance. Wear of the watch strap is not covered by the warranty.
In the event of a mechanical fault, please ensure that you notify and gain approval from us in writing before taking your watch to a 3rd party or manufacturer approved repairer, as this will void your warranty with us. In the event you decide to take your watch to a repairer or watchmaker without prior approval from Xanco Jewellers, we will not be held liable for any costs you may incur.
Any modification of a watch by addition of substitution of components which have not been provided by the manufacturer will also invalidate the warranty, as will evidence that the watch case has been opened by anyone other than our authorised watchmakers.
It is your responsibility to arrange adequate insurance cover for your watch whilst in transit back to us, and this cost will be at your expense. The warranty is in addition to your statutory and common law rights.
PLEASE NOTE - Our manufacturer Warranty is only eligible and provided for purchases that have an expired warranty from the original manufacturer.
