Patek Philippe Nautilus 5990/1R-001 Watch Review

Lets take a closer look at the Patek Philippe Nautilus Travel Time Chronograph 5990/1R-001. This watch was one of the bigger releases from Patek in 2021 and for good reason, and is now one of the most sought after rose gold watches by watch collectors today. 

Although the watch has a big price tag, this is justified by the sheer amount of functionality mixed with prime aesthetics which makes this watch the ultimate rose gold luxury watch today. 

The Caliber CH 28 520 C FUS offers 55 hours of power reserve, a dual time zone function with day and night indications on the dial using apertures for local and home times, as well as a 60 minute flyback chronograph. 

This is a remarkable amount of function put into only a 40.5mm case. But the watch isn't just good for its functionality. Made of 18ct rose gold contrasted with the warm and beautiful sunburst blue dial, the watch, simply put looks extraordinary. 

The dial features gold applied hour markers with luminescent coating which gives it a sporty feel, but this watch can definitely be dressed up or down and fits perfectly under a shirt cuff with the case thickness only being 12.53mm thick.
